What is A Day to Write?
It’s exactly what it sounds like: a full day set aside just for you and your writing. No meal prep, no interruptions, no excuses — just twelve hours of space to sink into your words and creativity.
Whether you’re diving into NaNoWriMo, dusting off a project that’s been waiting, or simply craving time to journal, sketch, or explore ideas, this retreat is a chance to immerse yourself in writing with support, comfort, and community.
“Writing is a solitary activity best done in groups.”
— Bill Paterson

Why Come?
Because your writing deserves your attention.
Because it’s hard to carve out time in daily life.
Because sometimes the best gift you can give yourself is a whole day to write, eat, stretch, and create — with everything else taken care of — in a community of like-minded people.
And if you’re participating in NaNoWriMo, this is the perfect opportunity to get a huge word count boost in a single day.
